Mission and key tasks
Puratos is looking for an Intern to join the R&D team of the Sourdough, Grains and seeds Business Unit, responsible for the development of innovative products in the fast growing category of breads.
Your key tasks would include:
The objective is to test different Puratos ingredients and their impact on bread quality.
As part of the R&D team developing, you will be in charge of:
- Literature review (5%)
- Bake different bread applications with the defined products (60%)
- Evaluate quality of final products, write trial reports and analyze results (25%)
- Work in collaboration with the sensory analysis team to confirm results with our internal sensory panel (10%)
Profile
- You are currently in your Master’s degree in Food Science/Technology or looking for a professional experience during your gap year;
- You are dynamic, hands-on and proactive;
- You have good communication, presentation, planning and organization skills;
- You are sincerely interested in the bakery world;
- You are willing to spend more than 50% of your time in the bakery (following a training with our experts);
- An experience in the bakery industry is a plus;
- Fluent in English.
