Internship: E-Commerce platform

Mission

 

Join our dynamic and innovative e-commerce team as e-commerce coordinator. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in content management, website user experience and contributing to the strategic growth of our e-sales. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to improve the customer journey of our different local websites and contribute to the enhancement of our global e-commerce strategy.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Content creation: Create relevant content for local markets that sell our products in a customer and web friendly format
  • Content maintenance: Update and maintain product listings, descriptions, images, and other content on the e-commerce platform. Ensure that all content is accurate, findable and up-to-date
  • Features management: Testing of new features, set-up on local websites of the newly available functionalities, creation of training documentation on how to set-up and use the features.
  • Local website audits: Audit the local websites of key markets and define an action plan together with them to improve website experience and local conversion rates
  • A/B Testing: Collaborate with the team to conduct A/B tests on different website elements, such as layouts, CTAs, and product placements, to optimize conversion rates and analyse the results

By focusing on these tasks, you will gain practical experience in various aspects of website management and optimization, which are crucial skills in the ever-evolving e-commerce landscape. It's a well-rounded set of responsibilities that will provide you with a solid foundation for understanding how to effectively manage an e-commerce website and drive its success.

Profile

 

  • Master's degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, E-commerce, Communication or related discipline
  • Able to communicate and write in professional English
  • Strong writing and communication skills to create engaging and customer-focused content
  • Eager to learn about  UX principles and enhance website usability and navigation
  • Ability to draw insights from data and make informed decisions based on the analysis
  • Creative thinking to devise and execute experiments that can improve user interactions and engagement
  • Understanding of how SEO impacts online visibility
  • Proactive approach to identifying issues on the website and proposing creative solutions to address them
  • Ability to work effectively within a cross-functional team, collaborating with marketing, development teams
