Group Customer Technical Support Director Advisors & IC

Your Mission

As CTS director, you lead the Global Technical Services department, including the Group Technical Advisor’s community, and you supervise the activities of Puratos 120 Innovation Centers worldwide, in order to delight customers with the best possible technical service in order to let customers being successful with their business.

You assure that our global Innovation Centers are true centers of innovation, where we proactively promote Puratos’ most innovative, health and well-being and sustainability driven Puratos solutions, via creative and inspiring finished goods. And you contribute to great customer experience, via our physical and digital services.

You lead, grow and expose a vibrant and talented community of technical advisors.

What you will do

1. Own the vision and strategy for Puratos Customer Technical Service activities:

• You define and execute the strategic pillars of the CTS department
• You closely involve the CTS SteerCo
• You reach the global TA community via regular CTS Touchpoints

2. Delight customers to be successful with their business:

• You promote great Customer Experience
• You guide the global TA organization towards the right Customer prioritization (key accounts and key development semi-industry accounts, Type A and B artisans, Bakery Chains)
• You foster good collaboration with Group R&D and Application Specialist community, Marketeers and Sales colleagues

3. Grow and develop the global Technical Advisor’s community

• You invest in solid people management: recruitment, onboarding and integration, growth and development, succession planning, talent mapping, mobility
• You contribute to good visibility and exposure of Technical Advisors community
• You own and implement the CTS Organization Blueprint

4. Assure top level bakery, patisserie and chocolate craftmanship, while also accelerating our Technical Support to industry

• You own the TA Training agenda:  Guild program, Finished Goods Training, process and equipment trainings,…
• You define and organize internal training programs for the Business Development Community

5. Drive the activities of the global Innovation Centers:

• Special ownership for headquarters flagship, with a special focus also on the upcoming Bakery of the Future, and USA Pilot Bakery
• Own the IC Capex Wallet to well equip our worldwide IC’s with the most relevant equipments

6. Connection with equipment suppliers

• You follow the latest process and equipment evolutions
• You connect and select our preferred equipment suppliers
• You set-up specific collaboration and partnership programs

7. Embrace digital and gen(AI) solutions

• You assure that all TA & IC activities are well reported and monitored via CRM
• You monitor the IC activities via the CTS KPI Dashboard
• You connect via Social media & digital communication platforms
• You explore actively digital and gen(AI) tools and opportunities

8. Promote innovation

• You promote the demonstration and focus on Puratos’ Strategic and International Innovations, H&WB and Sustainability driven solutions
• You connect well to the Taste Tomorrow trends, as base of creative and innovative finished good developments

What we expect from you

• You hold a Master in Food Science or Food engineering, or similar experience via professional track record.
• You have a passion for Food, and for bakery, patisserie and chocolate applications. You strive for excellence in finished goods quality.
• You’re inspiring people leader, and have at least 10 years of experience in leading and growing teams.
• Digital savviness
• Bakery equipment and process savviness
