Finance Manager Belgium
Your Mission
As beOps Finance Manager, you are the strategic finance leader for Belgian Operations, acting as a trusted advisor to senior operational and Group stakeholders. You drive financial performance, transparency, and value creation across multiple production sites in a complex, matrix organization. As a member of the Belgian Operations Management Team, you shape strategic decisions through insight-driven finance leadership. Your impact goes beyond numbers: you influence investments, operational efficiency, and long-term competitiveness. This role combines strategic thinking, people leadership, and hands-on business partnering at the highest level.
Key Accountabilities
- Act as senior Finance Business Partner to Belgian Operations leadership, providing strategic insight on performance, profitability, investments, and risk.
- Lead budgeting, rolling forecasts, and long-range financial planning for all Belgian operations, ensuring alignment with Group strategy.
- Drive performance management and value creation initiatives, including cost optimization, margin improvement, working capital, and CAPEX governance.
- Lead and sponsor cross-site, high-impact finance and transformation projects with potential Group exposure.
- Ensure robust financial governance, reporting quality, and internal controls in line with Group standards.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Finance Business Partners, fostering strong business acumen and stakeholder orientation.
- Represent Belgian Operations Finance towards Group Finance and other Group functions, influencing decisions beyond the local scope.
Who are we looking for?
- Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Business; a strong financial and accounting foundation is essential.
- 10+ years of senior finance experience, ideally in a manufacturing or supply-chain-driven environment.
- Proven track record as a strategic business partner, able to challenge and influence senior stakeholders.
- Strong experience in people leadership, project leadership, and working in a matrix organization.
- Excellent analytical and systems skills (SAP required; BI/Power BI as a user).
- Fluent in English; French and/or Dutch are strong assets in the Belgian context.
- Mature, resilient, and open-minded leader with high learning agility and a passion for value creation
