Technical & Safety Manager

Your Mission

This position holds overall responsibility for all machinery and technical equipment, including operations, maintenance, safety, and project management. The role covers both daily maintenance, process optimization, and the strategic development of new equipment that supports the company’s long-term goals. In addition, the function is part of the company’s safety group and is responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards.

What you will do

Preventive Maintenance

• Work systematically with preventive maintenance to reduce downtime.
• Ensure timely handling of errors and breakdowns.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of maintenance routines.

Process Structure and Standardization

• Develop and implement standardized procedures (SOPs) across machines and systems.
• Ensure structured training of new employees through both oral and written materials.
• Identify and implement simple maintenance routines (e.g., proper lubrication, sensor protection, focus on critical components).

Digitalization and Data-Driven Maintenance

• Drive the digitalization of maintenance processes and utilize collected data for improvements.
• Prepare presentations and actively contribute to production meetings with data-driven insights.
• Apply IT tools to optimize operations and efficiency.

Cross-Company Collaboration

• Identify and implement Best Practices from other factories within the group.
• Contribute to optimization projects with a focus on efficiency and quality.
• Collaborate closely with the quality department to ensure audit readiness and compliance with documentation requirements.

Technological Curiosity and Innovation

• Be proactive in exploring new technologies such as sensors, automation, and digital solutions.
• Actively participate in the commissioning and optimization of new production lines and equipment (e.g., aseptic line and SIP system).

Documentation and Traceability

• Ensure complete documentation of maintenance activities.
• Establish traceability and compliance as an integral part of quality and safety work.

Risk Assessment and Regulatory Compliance

• Demonstrate understanding of applicable machinery regulations and internal standards.
• Document and report safety issues in a timely manner.

Technical Competence and Development

• Contribute with solid technical expertise, preferably with an electrician background or equivalent.
• Actively participate in production optimization and improvement initiatives.
• Show willingness for professional development and continuous learning.

What we expect from you

• Knowledge and experience about changing spare parts in production.
• Basic electrical understanding (no need to be an electrical engineer).
• Ability to build and execute repair schedules.
• Health and safety experience for at least 5 years.
• Ability and willingness to train people how to use certain machines.
• Ability to create appropriate service routine and structure of spare parts in stock.
• Making S&OPs for the machines and/or having a boiler operating certificate would be considered as an advantage.
• Passion for detail and a high degree of structure and organizational skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability in task execution.
• Deep understanding of workflows in a production company.
• Ability to handle differences and collaborate with a differentiated approach.
• Capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously and working independently as well as in a team.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal) in both Danish and English languages.
