Become our Graduate Trainee in the Belgian Operations and join our rapidly growing, global team!

 

Over the course of our 3-year Graduate Trainee program, you have the opportunity to take part in 3 annual rotations within our Operations departments in Puratos Belgium 

 

In your first year, you will act as Reliability & Equipment Engineer for our Chocolate factory in Erembodegem and you will be responsible for:

 

  • Investigating, solving and following up on complex corrective and/or recurring equipment problems, including technical hands-on support.
  • Collect and analyze data to propose structural improvements that reduce downtime and increase overall equipment efficiency.
  • Draft or adjust a preventive maintenance plan, maintenance checklists and procedures
  • Responsible for the basic and/or detailed engineering of OPEX projects, as well as their implementation, taking deadlines and budgets into account.
  • Manage and/or assist contractors
  • Ensure good reporting and communication to all stakeholders

 

In your second and third year, you will have a new assignment in another department of the Operations organization in Belgium e.g. Production, Supply chain , Group Quality, Finance, Engineering , HSE , .. in one of the production locations.

The goal of our program is to prepare you on a path for talented, passionate professionals towards future leading roles within our company.

Each Graduate Trainee will be assigned to an expert Mentor, who will ensure you receive all the continuous support and training you need to be successful during your 3 annual rotations. After your 3-year graduate program you move to an exciting role within Puratos to build further  your career within our global business.

 

Who are we looking for?

 

  • Master's Degree from a University with excellent academic track record in industrial/electromechanical/civil engineering, production processes, food processing
  • You will either be in your final year of University study, or have graduated within the past 12 to 18 months (more experienced candidates are welcome to apply to other roles at Puratos via our careers page)
  • A first work or Internship experience, preferably in the Food, FMCG or in a similar industry
  • Drive for innovation, teamwork, flexibility and achievement orientation
  • Engagement and Passion for the Food industry
  • Be fully mobile to work in different global business areas/ locations
  • Be fully business-fluent in English (French, Dutch)
