The Director of Procurement, US & Sourcing Coordinator, NAM leads national procurement strategy and operations across all U.S. manufacturing and distribution sites, managing a team and partnering cross-functionally to drive P&L impact. Based in Pennsauken, NJ, this role also aligns sourcing efforts across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico—ensuring consistency in supplier strategy, category management, and cost optimization to support growth and sustainability. Reporting to the US VP of Operations, it maintains close collaboration with the Group Procurement Director and regional leadership.
What You Bring: 10 years of procurement experience in the food industry with proven leadership in strategic sourcing. Deep expertise in globally traded commodities and hedging strategies, including items such as sugar, flour, cocoa, and dairy. Proven track record of managing global spend exceeding $100MM across both commodity and non-commodity categories and equipped to drive value and innovation.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead and align North American procurement strategy (U.S., Canada, Mexico) with global objectives
- Manage supplier relationships and sourcing activities using strategic methodologies, ensuring ethical practices and performance accountability
- Analyze market trends and cost drivers to support sustainability, efficiency, and growth.
- Develop and execute regional category strategies, driving spend harmonization and cost optimization
- Oversee procurement operations including supplier selection, contract negotiation, and lifecycle management
- Serve as North American liaison to Group Procurement, ensuring local execution of global initiatives
- Identify training and digital tool needs to enhance procurement efficiency
- Collaborate with Pricing to manage raw material costs and optimize margins
- Develop raw material cover strategies to mitigate commodity market impacts
- Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, ESG commitments, and supplier diversity goals
- Foster innovation and identify new or alternate suppliers
- Drive continuous improvement and adopt digital/AI solutions to boost productivity
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s preferred in business, economics, or food science
- 10+ years procurement experience in food or CPG industry, including 7+ years in leadership roles
- Proven success managing $100MM+ global spend across commodity and non-commodity items
- Deep expertise in globally traded food commodities (e.g., sugar, flour, cocoa, dairy) and hedging/futures markets
- Strong leadership experience, including coaching and developing high-performing teams
- Skilled in SAP or similar ERP systems; highly organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills; culturally aware with a commitment to diversity

Compensation:
- Compensation for this role is salaried and will be based on your experience, skills, and location, with a typical range between $184,100 and $223,500.
- This role is eligible for a targeted annual bonus equal to 20%. Final bonus payouts are determined by both individual and company performance.
