Position Overview

Based at BanoPuratos in Dammam KSA, we are currently seeking a:

Production Supervisor

(Dammam,KSA)

The Production Supervisor will work closely with Factory operations team to ensure supply continuity as per market requirement. 

The production Supervisor leads the whole production process by coaching his team and by implementing Continuous Improvement Programs. He / She defines, realizes and improves the objectives related to HSE, Quality, Service Level and Cost.

Key Accountabilities

1. Manufacturing

• Production Planning & timely execution to ensure supply continuity
• Basic troubleshooting of operational breakdowns
• Understanding of utilities

2. HSE

• Ensure HSE legal compliance
• Ensure safety of all employee in line with standard operating procedures
• Drive behavior-based safety program
• Effective control of contractors and visitors in place
• Full safety induction for all newcomers
• Ensure full investigation and follow up of incidents ad hazardous situations

3. Costs

• Effective budget control of the department
• Report the results on a regular base (Site-meeting, BU-meeting)
• Constantly reduce inefficiencies
• Ensure minimum material losses during production

4. Quality

• Implementation and maintenance of HACCP, Halal & quality certification standards and 5S
• Cover the food safety risks (fit for work, personal hygiene)
• Maintaining a clean and hygienic work environment
• Work closely with cross-functional team to reduce external customer complaints
• Master manufacturing processes (at source) to deliver Right First-Time performance
• Ensure suitable problem-solving tools are used to complete CAPA’s

• Internal: Engineering, QA.R&D, Procurement, Warehousing
• External: Services contractors, OEMs,

Profile

• Food Technologist / Engineer preferred, bachelor’s degree in Science .
• Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience in the food industry.
• Experience with KPI’s and efficiency measurement.
• Knowledgeable about factory Safety & Quality Management
• Shopfloor Management skills.
