What You Will Do

As an Industrial Bakery Specialist (Application Specialist), you will work directly with our customers, becoming an extension of their team. By understanding their needs, you will propose, troubleshoot, develop, and implement solutions on their industrial production lines. Your role is crucial in creating a virtuous circle of joint profitability, allowing Puratos to reinvest in our mission and help our customers delight their customers.

Primary Responsibilities

• Sales Support
  • Identify new business opportunities with large customers.
  • Detect products at risk and implement appropriate solutions.
  • Conduct internal and external presentations and seminars on product benefits.
  • Participate in strategic exercises to develop business, based on a good understanding of the local market.
• Troubleshooting at Customer Locations
  • Address technical challenges faced by customers in their bakeries.
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts at industrial bakeries to protect existing business or develop new opportunities.
  • Identify and implement Puratos solutions to resolve customer issues.
• Development & Implementation: New Products and Concepts
  • Engage in early-stage developments and create demo concepts.
  • Innovate new bread concepts using Puratos technologies, aligned with market trends.
  • Apply the Recipe – Additive – Process (R-A-P) approach for successful implementation.
  • Lead the execution of new concepts and technical solutions on industrial bakery production lines.

Expertise & Networking

• Become a leading expert through training and field experience.
• Build a high-value network of customers, suppliers, researchers, and the Puratos R&D community.
• Provide intelligence on innovative raw materials and technologies.

Requirements

• 5 years of hands-on experience in industrial bakery production.
• Understanding of ingredient functionality and interactions.
• ICT Skills: Proficiency in standard Windows applications, minimum Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Travel: Up to 70% travel required.
