To strengthen our team in Moldova, we are looking for:

Business Controller
(Singera, Moldova)

We are seeking a Business Controller to act as a strong financial business partner to management, ensuring transparency on business performance and supporting strategic decision-making. This role focuses on analyzing financial and operational data, translating numbers into insights, and driving value creation across the organization.

What you will do

• Analyze business performance and translate financial data into actionable insights
• Monitor profitability and performance by product, customer, channel, and activity
• Support strategic decision-making through scenario analysis and business cases
• Prepare periodic business and management reports for local and group management
• Analyze budget and forecast variances and propose corrective actions
• Participate actively in budgeting, rolling forecasts, and long-term planning
• Define, monitor, and continuously improve business KPIs
• Align financial results with operational and commercial performance
• Perform ad-hoc financial and business analyses upon request
• Identify opportunities for revenue growth, margin improvement, and cost optimization
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Production, R&D, HR, and Supply Chain
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting in line with group standards and deadlines

What we expect from you

Education

• University degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration  (minimum BSc)

Experience

• 2 years minimum of experience in business controlling, financial controlling, or finance-related roles
• Experience in a multinational, matrix organization is a plus
• Exposure to commercial finance, performance management, or business partnering is a plus

Skills & Competencies

• Strong analytical and business-oriented mindset
• Ability to connect financial data with business drivers
• Proactive, hands-on, and solution-oriented approach
• Strong planning, organizational, and prioritization skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Comfortable working cross-functionally and influencing stakeholders

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Excel (medium/advanced level)
• SAP knowledge is a strong plus
• Ability to work with additional financial tools and systems related to SAP (PBI, IBP, QlikView)

Languages

• Conversational English (minimum B2 level)
