Salary:              Up to £30,000 per annum

Mission

We are excited to introduce a brand-new Trainer role into our Operations Team in Buckingham on a fixed term contract for 12-months. There will likely be a need for travel to our other sites in the UK as part of this role.

Responsibilities

  • Create and implement a full training matrix that addresses all necessary skills and knowledge areas within the organisation.
  • Ensure that all employees receive consistent and comprehensive training.
  • Conduct training sessions for production and warehouse operators, covering various core aspects of the manufacturing process, inc. Food Safety, Allergen, Risk Assessments, SOPs, etc.
  • Write, review, and amend SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
  • Update Document Control Systems and Site Training to reflect latest document revisions in conjunction with the Compliance Manager.
  • Perform checks to ensure that staff are using the learning on the job.
  • Perform assessment activities to ensure that staff have retained the knowledge from the learning.
  • Work with the business to ensure compliance levels are maintained at agreed levels.
  • Act as a point of contact for colleagues who may wish to discuss learning matters, providing feedback to the local HR Team.
  • Coordinate mandatory compliance training for new starters and competence verified within 12 weeks of commencement of employment, playing a key role in their onboarding journey.
  • Explore new ways to engage and reach our employees.

Qualifications

  • Training based qualification/certification (desirable).
  • Excellent people skills.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Good communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to identify and put into practice improvement ideas.
  • Experience in a training role within the manufacturing environment.
  • Math and English at GCSE level or equivalent.
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
  • Proven experience in managing multiple tasks/projects successfully.
  • Confidence to deliver training content to groups of employees.
