Your Mission

We are seeking an R&D Technologist specialising in Grains, Seeds & Sourdough to join our dynamic team as we transition from Liverpool to our new state-of-the-art site in Buckingham.
In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in the smooth transfer of our processes, developing prototypes, supporting product launches, and advancing both innovation and sustainability.

What you will do
- Play a key role at the Buckingham site, carrying out dual responsibilities for both Sourdough and Grains & Seeds
- Play a pivotal role in the smooth transition and successful transfer of Grains, Seeds & Sourdough between sites, including the initial setup in Buckingham
- Produce lab samples & prototypes for customer trailing
- Support the scale up of products from lab and pilot to full scale production
- Shelf-life testing and validation of products
- Provide support to the factory on product launches and improvement initiatives
- Create product formulations based on customer briefs
- Test products in finished good applications i.e. bread
- Support other team members and functions when needed
What we expect from you
- Have a qualification in Food Science, Food Technology or Product Development
- Have prior experience (3 years) within food manufacturing or another relevant production environment/industry
- Be able to travel in the UK and occasionally abroad (two days a week on average)
- Be open to flexible working hours
- Have a Basic Food Hygiene certificate or can demonstrate awareness of food safety procedures
- Be computer literate (primary usage: Microsoft Office Suite and SAP tools)
- Hold a driver’s License
