Position Overview

Based at BanoPuratos in Lebanon - Bshamoun, we are currently seeking a:

Senior Infrastructure and Security Engineer

(Lebanon)

Senior Infrastructure and Security Engineer has to manage, secure, and optimize the company's IT infrastructure across multiple locations. The ideal candidate will ensure robust WAN/LAN connectivity, maintain network and data security, oversee system operations, and provide seamless support to business-critical applications and services, including Office 365 and Active Directory.

Key Accountabilities

• Network Infrastructure Management
  • Design, implement, configure, and maintain WAN connectivity between headquarters and regional branches, ensuring secure, efficient communication.
  • Manage and optimize LAN configurations, including VLANs, routing, and switching.
  • Conduct network performance analysis and troubleshooting to resolve bottlenecks or issues.
  • Maintain and improve network documentation, including diagrams and operational frameworks.
• Security Management
  • Oversee and manage network security devices, including firewalls, and VPNs.
  • Ensure compliance with security best practices for systems, networks, and endpoints.
  • Deploy and manage antivirus solutions for desktops, laptops, and servers.
  • Perform regular vulnerability assessments and implement necessary hardening measures.
• System Administration
  • Administer and maintain physical and virtual machines, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Configure and manage backup solutions for critical files, devices, and systems.
  • Support Office 365 Exchange, local Active Directory, and associated policies.
  • Implement and enforce Active Directory Group Policies for user and device management.
• Collaboration and Support
  • Provide advanced support for Office 365, Active Directory, and application systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across hardware, software, and networking layers.
  • Collaborate with teams to identify technical and service improvements to align with business requirements.
• Optimization and Continuous Improvement
  • Evaluate, recommend, and implement new technologies and solutions to improve network and system performance.
  • Identify and adopt best practices for network operations, configuration, and security.
  • Monitor system and network performance metrics and develop optimization strategies.

Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in infrastructure and security roles, preferably in multi-branch environments.
• Proficiency in WAN/LAN management, routing, switching, and VLAN configuration.
• Hands-on experience with firewalls, VPNs, and security devices.
• Strong knowledge of Office 365 Exchange, Active Directory, and related policies.
• Experience with backup solutions and disaster recovery planning.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
• CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Azure Administrator, or similar.
• Working with hybrid IT environments (cloud and on-premises).
• Supporting multi-regional infrastructure in a fast-paced business.
