Position Overview
Based at BanoPuratos in Lebanon, we are currently seeking a:
Regional Marketing Manager
(Bshamoun)
Plan and implement marketing strategies in order to maximize exposure and return on investment to BanoPuratos and its brands. Deploy successful marketing campaigns and own their implementation from ideation to execution. Lead market research efforts to uncover the viability of current and existing products.
Key Accountabilities
Strategy
- Lead the effective development and execution of the Marketing Department’s strategy, plans, and customer value propositions to contribute in the realization of BanoPuratos Group strategic objectives
- Ensure the timely provision of input to the CEO, in line with the approved process, to ensure that Marketing needs are reflected in the overall BanoPuratos strategy
- Ensure the marketing strategies of BanoPuratos smaller regional business entities ex. ABA
Operational
- Research and analyse market trends, demographics, competitor products, consumer insights, marketing best practices, and other relevant information to develop and execute marketing strategies
- Develop, implement, and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns and touchpoint planning that supports customer acquisition, customer retention, and loyalty programmes strategies
- Develop marketing programmes to support specific marketing objectives across different channels and segments in alignment with the overall strategic marketing plan
- Oversee and approve the creative development of promotional materials, website and social media contents, advertisements, and other marketing related projects
- Collaborate with sales managers and brand managers to identify various opportunities, campaign strategy and the framework for measurement and reporting
- Conduct market research to determine market requirements for existing and future products and recommend programme changes based on findings to optimize programme effectiveness and profitability increasing response rates on all marketing channels
- Monitor and analyse the marketing activities performance, share learning, and recommend corrective measures
- Create, maintain, and conduct analytics reporting across multiple platforms, and extract key insights for future campaigns development and go-to-market strategies, complete with formal proposals and recommendations on tactics
- Plan and organise a range of global events (International and local Exhibition participation, In house events, PR events) to enable BanoPuratos to meet its strategic and business goals
- Establish positioning, identify target audiences, and manage, monitor, and measure brand equity/strength
- Keep abreast with latest marketing trends and best practices by attending conferences, seminars, receptions, and exhibitions; and share lessons learned across the department
- Manage the allocation of budget across the department to ensure complete adherence and highlight any deviation from the plan in a timely manner and take corrective action as necessary and in line with the approved process
- Consolidate all reporting input to formulate department budget and submit to the CEO for approval and further consolidation
People and Talent Management
- Manage multi-disciplinary reporting organizational units and ensure effective leadership in order to adequately manage human capital in their achievement of the department performance objectives
- Provide guidance to subordinates on operational and people management matters. Provide subordinates with mentoring and coaching when necessary in order to ensure that they are well equipped to tackle the operational requirements from a professional and behavioural standpoint
Profile
- Bachelor degree in Marketing, or any related field
- 12 years of Marketing experience, out of which 4 years at a managerial level
- Fluent in English, Arabic, French is a plus
- Ability to develop strategic marketing plan, identify target audiences, and creatively devising and leading across channels marketing campaigns that engage, educate, and motivate
- Strong ability to conduct market, customer, and competitor analysis
