Position Overview

Based at BanoPuratos in Lebanon, we are currently seeking a:

Business Control Manager

(Bshamoun)

The Business Control Manager is responsible for overseeing financial performance, implementing control measures, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. The role involves analyzing financial data, preparing budgets, and providing actionable insights to support strategic decision-making. This position requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments.

Key Accountabilities

1. Financial Management:

Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.

Monitor financial performance against targets and provide variance analysis.

Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive efficiency.

2. Internal Controls:

Design, implement, and maintain effective internal control systems.

Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures.

Address and resolve internal control issues promptly.

3. Reporting & Analysis:

Prepare accurate and timely financial and operational reports.

Reports:

1. • Statement of cash flow
   • Income Statement
   • Balance Sheet
   • Working Capital
   • Share Holder Value
   • Budget + variances : OPEX / CAPEX

• P&L - Review

a- product margins & customers profitability’s and share conclusions & actions.

      b- Support Operation KPI’s tracking and analysis on variances.

c- Proceed OPEX control and optimization guidance.

• B/S - Review

1. Develop and/or follow up working capital management.

• Other - Review

1. Screen all capital investments projects and perform post analyses after 3 year.
2. Other - Coordinate the monthly reporting, forecasting, long range plan and budgeting process.
3. Control and analyze the monthly expenses for all entities, and recommend improvements when required.
4. Conduct a ration analysis and submit it  on monthly basis to the management.
5. Reporting others – (BFC , Power Steering)

4. Analyze business trends and provide recommendations for improvement.

5. Support decision-making by providing data-driven insights

Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
• Minimum 10–12 years of experience in finance, business control, or a related field.
• Around 5 years of experience in financial / business controlling, preferably in FMCG.
• Manufacturing experience is a plus
• Good communication and management skills.
• Fluency in English and local languages.
• A good knowledge of Excel.
• Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools like Cognos, QlikView/Sense or Lumira is a plus.
• Analytical, hands-on, initiative taking, result driven.
• Mobility : travel to local sites and exceptionally to international seminar.
