Primary Responsibilities:

 

  • Work with the technical advisor bakery team on the proper scaling, mixing, shaping, proofing, and baking of artisan style breads.
  • Work with the technical advisor pastry team on the proper scaling, mixing, baking, and decorating of basic cookies, brownies, and cakes.
  • Work with the R&D Fillings & Decors formulation team to understand the make up of Fillings & Decors and the basic food science behind the products.
  • Work with the R&D Dry Pastry team on the proper running of formulation tests and baking of test cakes, cookies, and brownies.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Demonstrated interest in baking, pastry, or food science
  • Familiartity with food safety and sanitation practices 
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions 
  • Willingness to learn and take initiative 
  • Ability to work in a team environment 
  • Education experience
    • Enrolled in High School or GED
