As a member of the R&D team, the VIE Enzyme Processing Technologies will be responsible for follow-up of production processes related to enzymes dried formulations, understanding the fundamental knowledge and support the R&D Manager Bakery Improvers & Mixes and the local Process Improvement team.
The ideal profile
- Actively support processing projects:
- Organize key enzymes (dried) formulation projects through agreed GO/NOGO with clear objectives, team members, milestones, reporting and project organization
- Set up and run product development, lab tests, trials on industrial lines and shelf life studies in different conditions
- Organize and manage the required support from other departments (quality, purchase, operations)
- Organize and manage the collaborations with external partners (trials for new processes and new technologies, analytics)
- Report results to all related parties
- Continuous improvement & knowledge building
- Support production team to ensure stability and quality of (semi-)finished enzyme products & work on improvements of production processes
- Deepen technical understanding between raw material characteristics and their impact on the final processed product
- Systematically test alternative ingredients/suppliers in close collaboration with Purchase team, Production team Andenne & main suppliers
- Ensure business continuity for raw materials
- Training
- Develop training material on production & organize training sessions towards operators
