HQ

In Belgium, our headquarters, along with our innovation and inspiration center, are situated. All departments are integrated within our group structure. The majority of these functions hold a global scope, which adds a powerful dimension to working for the Puratos headquarters!

Groot-Bijgaarden

Our largest production facility in Groot-Bijgaarden, Belgium, employs around 200 people across various departments, including quality control, maintenance, engineering, planning, health & safety, HR, finance, and three production divisions. Our supply chain department, with around 75 members, manages the central distribution center, shipping products globally.

Erembodegem

Belcolade, in Erembodegem, is a quality chocolate brand for professional chocolatiers, confectioners, and pâtissiers. We aim to innovate and create sustainable chocolate solutions, positively disrupting the industry. Our employees, known as the Belcolatiers, craft delicious Belgian chocolate enjoyed worldwide. We strive to be partners for our customers at every step of the journey and are proud of our work! Our new production site is CO2 neutral, furthering our commitment to sustainability.

Lummen

Puratos Lummen, is our site in Limburg and counts around 130 employees who all help to create a pleasant work environment. Together we create delicious patisserie products such as creams, decors, fruit fillings and plant-based creams. We contribute to our better planet commitment by investing in diverse sustainability projects such as our windmill and the reuse of water.

Andenne

At Andenne and Saint-Vith, you get enriched by our enzymes, yeast and sourdoughs. At Saint-Vith we have our sourdough library. Our Andenne factory of the future 2023. We have 190 employees working in both sites of which 45 work in Saint-Vith.

  • IT

    Fran and Ruben, IT specialists at Puratos, share their experiences. Fran, initially a project manager for SAP, now works with Odoo & other digital solutions. Ruben’s team handles connectivity & cybersecurity, valuing tech autonomy. Both highlight Puratos’ collaborative & innovative environment. Fran enjoys diverse challenges, while Ruben values direct impact. Their roles involve partnership & tech testing, offering growth opportunities & a supportive atmosphere.

  • Finance

    We launched a pilot project under the “BeLean” initiative (Q4 2023) to revolutionize Finance in our Belgian Operations. Introducing Finance Business Partners to break down silos, enhance cost competitiveness and enable strategic decisions. This journey underscores our commitment to continuous improvement and excellence.

  • Camille Toussaint – GGT Marketing.

    The initial months as a Global Graduate Trainee (GGT) were very welcoming. I met many people from different departments, gaining a better understanding of the company. Transitioning from school to work, understanding the job, and dealing with admin tasks was easier knowing other GGTs shared the same experience.

  • Laurens - Production

    I am Laurens, 27, and started here 5.5 years ago with no food industry experience. My knowledge of chocolate was zero, but its intrigue made me learn daily. Step by step, I climbed the ladder and became a Team Leader. With motivation and dedication, you can advance here. It’s a rewarding company with a pleasant work environment.

  

Internships in Belgium

  • At Puratos, our internship program thrives through strong collaborations with schools and universities, tapping into a diverse pool of talented students. We welcome around 100 interns annually, both Belgian and international. Interns gain experience in various departments, including R&D, operations, HR, and finance.
