The Puratos brand has a long and successful history in Norway and is among the most recognized brands in the Bakery, Patisserie and Chocolate industry. To ensure further growth and development in Norway, Puratos is setting up a local office. We are looking for a strong Business Development Manager who will drive sales, help establish Puratos further in the local market, and drive the new company forward

 

Business Development Manager

Reporting directly to the Regional Director for Northern Europe, our new Business Development Manager for Norway will help our customers be more successful with their business. You will be implementing our commercial strategy and product focus within Bakery, Patisserie and Chocolate. Your focus will be sales to targeted segments of the industrial market. Here you will achieve your mission by focusing on your customers’ needs and building our position as a company that offers Food Innovation for Good.

Key Tasks:

  • Working with our partners and selling Puratos bakery, patisserie and chocolate range to large industrial customers in Norway.
  • Increase existing sales and profitability further for the new Puratos Norway and take our market share to the next level.
  • Build close customer relationships through day-to-day contact with customers and proactively build new projects to ensure growth of the business.
  • Create inspirational concepts together with our marketing and R&D teams based on consumer trends and customer demands.
  • Give technical support and liaise with Puratos regional or global technical staff to meet the customer needs.
  • Ensure technical documentation for the customers and follow the local food legislation.
  • Work in close cooperation with the customer service team in Denmark to ensure alignment and excellent customer experience.

 

We expect potential candidates to have:

  • Commercial or technical educational background
  • Experience from the food or ingredient industry B2B and/or B2C.
  • Entrepreneurial drive and mindset.
  • Creative and passionate about sales results.
  • Great relationship builder and good understanding of customer needs.
  • Good commercial understanding and a positive problem-solving attitude.
  • Excellent communicator, international mindset
  • Native in Norwegian language and fluent in spoken and written English (corporate language).
  • Performing work based from home office until further.
  • Willing to travel in Norway and abroad when needed
