Position Overview:
- Job Title- Finance- Inventory Controller
- Department – Finance
- Job title Direct Supervisor – US CFO
- Job title Direct subordinates - None
- Location - Pennsauken
- Hybrid working – 2-3 days in office (Plant and HQ)
Maintain updated and accurate reporting of all Inventory, including financial provisions and write offs. Oversea day to day operations for inventory management, reporting and inefficiencies. Work with the plants to oversea slow moving inventory, stock counts and physical inventory.
Primary Responsibilities
- Member of the supply team for IBP understanding all aspects of the inventory and flow of goods and services
- Lead initiatives to improve processes, within established policy framework to resolve recurring issues
- Financial month end reporting of all inventory related items such as write- offs, provision for slow moving items, inventory adjustments
- Work with relative folks to ensure all rework, process orders and inventory adjustments are completed on a monthly basis
- Senior Management reporting of inventories, raising any flags on risk or issues
- Work closely with finance and supply chain especially at month end to manage financial statements
- Prepare weekly KPI tracking report of all inventories, flagging and managing all risk levels
- Support financial and customer audits and provide supporting documentation as needed
- Work with Finance, Operation and audit for proper accounting and recording of all stock counts, physical inventory and adjustments
Qualifications
- Education - Bachelors Degree in Finance; Business Administration or Management or related experience; Supply chain experience a plus
- Experience – At least 5 years of Managerial accounting, Supply Chain and Financial Reporting
- Knowledge – Microsoft Outlook, Supply Chain, IBP, SAP and extensive knowledge of all Microsoft applications
- Directly reporting to the US CFO, this position is a Managerial position that requires a hands on, take charge individual that requires little supervision. Independent thinker, who will be able to identify and fix problems, not just report on them.
