Position Overview


Based at Shanghai, China, in order to further strengthen our Business Development team we are currently seeking a:


Customer Marketing Manager

(Shanghai, China)

  • Develop and implement a complete approach for industry & food service channel, in line with Puratos Product Strategy, and Channel Strategy of Industry & Foodservice.
  • Build exceptional customer experiences, via finished good total solution, theme promotion, event & activity.


Key Accountabilities

  1. Continuously identify consumers, customers, channels and market insights and trends. Translate these into solutions & actions for customers following product & channel strategy.
  2. Work closely with customer’s MKT or BD team for yearly marketing calendar planning & execution.
  3. Support to organize customers activities such as events, seminars, CIDs, Tours, 1-to-1 visits, in line with Group Taste Tomorrow resources.
  4. Roll out product launches in channel: pre-launch exercise, launching activities, post launch analysis.
  5. Work closely with sales team to come out with business proposal and product solutions.
  6. Business analytics and come out with dedicated actions.
  7. Support to gather customer feedbacks/insights from the channel.
  8. Category Management: identify project opportunities, lead the project in the channel.
  9. Support Channel Director in the implementation of the Channel Strategies & sales process
  10. Exchange best practices within the company, leverage global new wins from group level and share locally.



  • Education: Bachelor or above preferably in marketing, advertising or business intelligence.
  • Experience:
    • At least 5 years marketing experience preferably both in B2C or B2B food industry related.
    • Prior experience in either trade marketing or product management. 
    • Experience in managing customer events, driving campaigns and roll out product launches.
  • Technical knowledge/skill:
    • Good command of MS office esp. PowerPoint and Excel.
    • Good presentation skill.
  • Language:
    • Good command of English, both written and spoken.
    • Fluent in Mandarin.

    • Good writing skill
    • Creative ideas, open-minded and willing to learn
    • Willing to travel
