YOUR MISSION

 

 

The Puratos USA Human Resources organization is looking for Regional HR Business Partner to support our Central and West Region workforce.   Based in either Kenosha, Wisconsin or Los Angeles, California – the successful candidate will partner with business leaders across 5 Puratos manufacturing and distributions facilities supporting of over 150 employees.  A key member of the US Field Human Resources team, the Regional HR Business Partner will act as an employee champion and change agent, while formulating solutions and partnerships across multiples lines of business to ensure a positive employee experience and deliver on our organizational People Plan.

 

 

YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE BY:

 

 

  • Partnering with operational leaders and the Recruiting Center of Excellence to ensure ongoing labor availability through robust local outreach programs, coordination with temporary staffing agencies and consistent execution of onboarding and orientation programs.
  • Being a visible and trusted advocate for frontline employees, positioning the HR function as a channel for support and issue resolution.  Building credibility and trust among employees; resolving employee concerns with compassion and follow-through.
  • Promoting a culture of health and wellbeing to all employees utilizing our robust wellness platform to improve healthcare utilization, reduce costs and improve employee productivity and engagement.
  • Leading programs and initiatives to support our growing emphasis on workplace diversiy, equity, and inclusion. Engaging leaders to develop a culture of belonging, and ensure people planning systems are free from systemic or implicit bias.
  • Overseeing the development and execution of a robust HR Compliance program across all local, state, and federal labor laws. Developing effective and sustainable policies, practices, and processes. Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation.
  • Delivering both strategic and tactical HR support and programs to employees and managers, including performance management, organizational design, learning and development, compensation programs, and employee relations.

 

 

YOU’LL COME PREPARED WITH 

 

 

  • 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including knowledge in HR practices, policies, & procedures, employee relations, talent development, performance management, staffing and state and federal labor law or equivalent
  • A Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Human Resources
  • Previous experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Willingness to travel up to 1 week per month
  • Emotional Intelligence and Empathy
  • A bias for action and follow-through
  • Knowledge of labor law, collective bargaining and employment best practices
  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases
  • Strong organizational, planning, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Strong problem solving, analytical and decision-making skills
  • Business and financial acumen
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications: Excel, PowerPoint, Word
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills. English language proficiency required, Fluency in Spanish is a big plus
