Position Overview

In order to further strengthen our Quality Control team in Poland we are currently seeking a:


Quality Control Specialist

(Poznan, Poland)


The position's mission is to build partnerships with customers by ensuring the availability of products that meet the highest quality standards, in line with the internal standards of the company as expected by the customer and independent food industry auditing bodies.


Key Accountabilities

  • Carrying out laboratory analyses of raw materials and finished products in accordance with approved methods.
  • Cooperation with external laboratories.
  • Archiving samples.
  • Control of records and operational parameters.
  • Hygiene control related to the production process.
  • Record the results of analyses.
  • Working in SAP
  • Calibration of equipment and taking care of the technical condition of laboratory equipment.
  • Preparation of reports.
  • Support in the conduct of documentation and supervision of documentation.
  • Analysis of preventive and corrective actions.
  • Providing basic training within quality management systems for employees.
  • Cooperation with DDD (Deratization, Disinfestation, Disinfection).


Required Competencies

  • Higher education in the fields of chemistry, commodities, food technology, biotechnology.
  • Preferred experience in a similar position, in food processing min 2 years.
  • Experience working in a laboratory, ideally in a food company.
  • Practical knowledge of quality standards (preferred BRC standard).
  • English language (B2 level minimum).
  • Knowledge of the methodology for conducting qualitative analyses.
  • Practical knowledge of measuring devices.
  • Self-reliance and ability to plan your work.
  • Communication skills – assertiveness.
  • Ability to run projects.
