Position Overview

Based at Mumbai, India location, in order to strengthen our purchase team, we are currently seeking an:

Purchase Executive/Senior-Executive 

(Mumbai, India)

Reporting directly to the Manager - Purchase, the successful candidate for this key function will be responsible:

Key Accountabilities

• Responsible to source, negotiate, documentation & purchase of raw material & packaging material locally.
• Gather market trends/ information for RM & PM
• To track/monitor connectivity of RM & PM effectively, within timelines.
• Work closely with suppliers to ensure effective support for long term relationship.
• Release of purchase orders for RM & PM in SAP
• To work with R & D & QC team for products development & documentation respectively
• Coordination with Accounts team for supplier payments as per payment terms agreed with vendors

Profile

• Should have good knowledge of MS-Office, mainly Excel & PowerPoints / Data complying 
• Basic Knowledge of SAP will be Must.
• Good Communication & Negotiation skills with suppliers.
• The ability to work effectively with the team or independently.
• Candidate from Food/FMCG/Food processing/Food chemical industry will be preferred.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Purchase OR Procurement
