Position Overview
We are currently seeking a:
Customer Marketing Senior Manager
Mississauga, Canada
Key accountabilities
Channel Marketing Strategy and execution: Develop and implement marketing strategies per channel to engage, retain and delight customers
Portfolio management
- Implement innovation & product prioritization per channel, cross category
- Support Product Management by helping to select and strengthen the product portfolio per channel, based on the most relevant finished products and customer needs
Communication and business development
- Implement communication and promotion activities per channel, with clear objectives and KPIs, using online or offline tools, leveraging on Consumer understanding data, and finished goods approach, in collaboration with product managers
- Understand customer journey and optimize touchpoints to create extraordinary experiences, including a focus on Innovation Centers to ensure optimal use
- Prepare & deliver Customer seminars, Customer Innovation Days, events and 1-1 presentations with Large Accounts
Channel, Customer, Shopper & Competitive Intelligence
- Market Mapping & segmentation of customers in each channel to detect and prioritize growth opportunities to create value for customers
- Analyze market, competitors, channels/customers & consumers/shoppers insights to identify opportunities and risks
Sales Support
- Monitor and reporting of CRM data to make sure that product and channel priorities are aligned and consistent with budget and targets
- Support sales team in the definition of KPIs to monitor the success of different initiatives
- Support creation of account plans and joint business plans for Key Accounts & Key Development Accounts, in partnership with sales team
- Develop and advise in-store activation programs, incl. POS material for product (re-)launch, promotion, merchandising, communication to stores
Profile
- Bachelors or Master's Degree in Marketing/ Sales
- 10 years’ experience, ideally in food sector and/or B2C environment
- Knowledge of the Retail environment of Canada
- Digital savvy
- Advanced knowledge in PowerPoint and Excel (incl. Pivot table)
- Knowledge of PowerBI, Technomic (Nielsen Market Track, IRI is a plus)
- Good communication skills and ability to influence others
- Business fluent English, French is a plus
- Willing to travel locally 2- 3 days per month and internationally once per semester
