Continuous Improvement Manager

(México, Tizayuca)


Reporting directly to the Head of Operations, the successful candidate for this key function will be responsible for leading and promoting Operational Excellence projects in order to develop operational capabilities. The main purpose of this role is to standardize production processes and operations, and to reducing and elimination of losses and waste. To coordinate process variability through the continuous improvement cycle PDCA.



Key Accountabilities

Sustainable improvement

Improving performance of the 5 key operational areas (HSE, Quality and Safety, People, Service Level, Cost, and Productivity -SQDCM) focused on the most up-to-date loss and waste analysis and coordinating functional areas efforts.

Business Lean

monitoring removing any waste and activities that do not generate value, with the appropriate organizational design where our Cross-functional Teams demonstrate agility, efficiency, and ownership.

Smart tools

Development and implementation of state-of-the-art facilities, that allow our people to deliver "Right from the start", and continuously improving their performance and eliminating waste.

Empowered Organization

Lead people to become autonomous and team-workers, for them to make a difference by innovating, and continuously improving operations performance.   

Lagging & leading indicators (KPIs)

Monthly reporting and alignment

Standardization Operative System -SOS

Ensure the implementation and effective execution of a visual management system that allows to track compliance with operating standards and production rates for each of the production processes.




  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Food, Biochemistry or Chemistry) Diploma in Productivity or MBB/BB/GB Certification is preferred.
  • 3+ years in Development and implementation of operational excellence and continuous improvement programs.  
  • Industries: food, mass-consumption products
  • Sectors: Business-to-Consumer or Business-to-Business
  • Bilingual, English and Spanish
  • MS Office plus online communication and collaboration tools as MS teams, etc.
  • Travelling is required
  • Full knowledge of Lean Manufacturing methodologies
  • Project management skills
