Position Overview


Based at Istanbul, in order to further strengthen our R&D team we are currently seeking a:


R&D Manager Patisserie

(Istanbul, Turkey)


Reporting directly to the R&D Director, the successful candidate for this key function will be responsible

to organize the R&D activities of the company, taking into account both Group and local requirements. In close collaboration with other units, you will actively contribute to the development and optimization of ingredients, products, services and processes in order to achieve business results, often expressed in growth and profitability both from a short term and long-term perspective.


Key Accountabilities


  • To carry out development (design) studies of Patisserie Powder Products (cakes, custard creams, whipping creams, fine patisserie products etc)
  • Implement new solutions on the production lines of our clients and drive the implementation of innovations (and renovations) in the markets
  • Visiting artisan and industrial customers together with their team in order to carry out patisserie special design works, receive their requests and follow up the product development activities in line with these requests.
  • If required to follow the Turkish Food Codex, TSE and other related regulations, to ensure the adaptation of the desired changes to their own products,
  • To evaluate customer complaints about patisserie products with the Quality Assurance Unit when necessary, to prepare the necessary reports after performing the necessary analyzes and studies.
  • To lead entering data regularly for monitored KPIs.




  • Graduated from the Food Engineering department of universities
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in R&D activities
  • Passionate about food and have knowledge about patisserie industry.
  • Creative and driven by Innovation and thinking out of the box  
  • Able to actively drive and have no restriction of domestic / international travel
  • Good command of written and spoken English
  • Good command of SAP application and MS Office applications
