Key Account Manager

As our new Key Account Manager your role is to help our customers be more successful with their business. You will be implementing our commercial strategy and product focus within Bakery, Patisserie and Chocolate. Your focus will be sales on targeted segments of the industrial market. Here you will achieve your mission by focusing on your customers’ needs and building our position as a company that offers Food Innovation for good.


Key Tasks:

  • Selling Puratos bakery, patisserie and chocolate range to large industrial customers in Finland.
  • Increase sales, market share and profitability for Puratos Finland.
  • Build close customer relationships through day-to-day contact with customers and proactively build new projects to ensure growth of the business.
  • Create inspirational finished product concepts based on consumer trends and customer demands.
  • Give technical support to our customers and liaise with Puratos technical staff to meet the customer needs.
  • Implement and fine-tune solutions knowing your customers’ prerequisites and ensure fast troubleshooting and problem solving.
  • Ensure technical documentation for the customers and follow the local food legislation.
  • Work in close cooperation with Puratos Finland team: Key Account Manager and Business Support Coordinator to ensure alignment and excellent customer experience.


We expect potential candidates to have:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales to the food industry, preferably from bakery, confectionary or similar.
  • Food science background combined with commercial experience.
  • Creative and passionate about sales and creating new inspirational concepts.
  • Good commercial understanding, strong project management skills and a positive problem-solving attitude with a customer oriented mind-set.
  • Ability to create new sales and build solid business relationships.
  • Excellent communicator, international mindset and native in spoken and written Finnish and fluent in spoken and written English which is our corporate language, Swedish is a plus.
  • Willing to travel in Finland and also abroad when needed.
