Internship Cacao-sourcing

Key accountabilities


In the Cacao SourcingTeam, the trainee will assist Product Managers in the implementation of Brand Business development strategy focusing in

  1. Brand data collection and valorization
    • Gather latest evolutions in Chocolate Bonus and Quality premium on quarterly base. Prepare a communication to inform our customers. Define customers list and backward activity plan.
  2. Trainings content & roll out
    • Coordinate Brand ambassadors network  
    • Update Brand ambassadors training content
    • Coordinate Brand ambassador training roll out (live and webinars), with a focus on Number of people trained and Number of countries reached
      1. Organize 3 webinars to guide the countries and explain the Brand sales and communication tools
      2. Organize 1 webinar on Brand why, what, how for CT ambassadors, Marketeers and Key accounts + roll-out
      3. Organize 1 webinar on Brand basics (8 slides max) for artisan sales rep  + roll-out
  3. Brand communication tools management
    • List available and needed communication tools
    • Centralize all communication tools on Agora
      1. Develop a CT welcome pack for new customers
      2. Build a Brand business development booklet
      3. Sampling bad/good
      4. Conversion package
  4. Brand Visibility
    • Boost Brand communication in social media by xx articles in FB, Ln, Instagram, Yammer
    • Coordinate Brand newsletters issuing/delivery on a monthly base, gathering content, reviewing/updating  the mailing list
    • Animate a Brand "Blog" with gathered info on farms, post-harvest centers, bonus and premium distribution, and cacao farmers daily life…
  5. Product management
    • Assist in implementation of Brand channel approach by applying/building
      1. Route to market
      2. Communication package
      3. Roll-out with relevant conversion scenario
      4. Reporting
    • Coordinate from initiation till roll-out of Brand finished goods concept for 4 finished goods (to be defined). Involve Technical Adivors work on finished goods approach with CT.
  6. Best practices
    • Consolidate countries best practices of Brand (marketing & communication, sales, business development)
    • Consolidate Brand success stories (plantation visits, labelling, …
