Global Applications Support Manager


Key Accountabilities

As Global Applications Support Manager you will ensure an excellent level of support for SAP and non-SAP applications to all the different countries in the Puratos Group.  


  • You will manage a team of Global Support Coordinators across functional areas ((Purchasing and Distribution, Production and R&D, Manufacturing Operation Management, Sales, CRM/SFA, e-Commerce, Finance and Costing…), with members in different regions: Europe, Asia and Americas and manage the outsourcing contract for the SAP Application support and development.
  • You guarantee that the SLA’s agreed with Puratos Business are met, while ensuring all local and international legal and regulatory requirements.
  • You manage the SAP support outsourcing contract, in close collaboration with our outsourcing partner, including the follow up of the agreed SLA’s and KPI’s, and control the support outsourcing contracts for other major global applications like e.g. MES. Furthermore you monitor and assure the quality of the support services are provided.
  • You ensure your team members are properly trained and coached to perform their tasks as Global Support Coordinators.
  • You recommend and manage continuous support service improvements and innovations via e.g. self-service and automation. Ensure optimal Service Levels with respect to business needs and cost-effectiveness.
  • You manage release management of the major global applications. 
  • You will be responsible for all custom development solutions in the SAP ERP environment and will also oversee the governance of the support related custom developments for other major global applications.


Who are we looking for? 


  • You have a Master or Bachelor degree preferably in Computer Science
  • You have 7 years’ experience in ICT preferably in SAP
  • You have experience in Service Management and a good knowledge of the ITIL framework (incident, problem, change…) in an international context
  • You have experience with outsourcing contract management
  • You have strong people management and coaching skills
  • You are communicative, service minded (internal and external) and organized
  • SAP knowledge is a big asset
  • You are fluent in English, knowledge of any other language is an asset
  • You are willing to travel 10% of the time
