Position Overview

In order to further strengthen our team in Ireland we are currently looking for a:

Marketing Lead

(Dunboyne, Ireland)


This role offers an opportunity to touch all the aspects of marketing and to make a big impact in a team with ambitious goals, a start-up attitude and a strong desire to promote Puratos’ innovative solutions in Health & Wellbeing and Sustainability.


Key Accountabilities

The remit of the role is to support the 4 key pillars of marketing to achieve growth in the Puratos Strategic Business Units (Bakery, Patisserie & Chocolate). Reporting into the General Manager and working closely with the Business Development team, you’ll be involved in co-ordinating activities across all 4 pillars:


Product Management

  • Working with cross-functional teams to launch products in Ireland through inspiring finished good concepts, presentations, POS material, promotions, etc.
  • Strong collaboration with the Puratos Group headquarters in Brussels to ensure alignment on key product & category priorities
  • Monitor product performance and help improve the local product portfolio
  • Collating feedback on products from sales and customers (Q&A support)


Customer Development

  • Definition & implementation of a yearly marketing plan per channel & initiatives in line with the Puratos Ireland strategy
  • Organise customer events, seminars and presentations and tracking ROI on such events and presentations
  • Supporting the development of customer presentations & sales tools (ex. sampling).
  • Development of the e-commerce & webshop strategy


Marketing Intelligence

  • Conducting regular customer-competitor-consumer analysis & market research to support strategy
  • Collecting and communicating relevant market and consumer trends
  • Managing the customers database with the business development team



  • Creating and posting content on social media platforms in line with the wider marketing strategy & reporting on social media KPIs
  • Develop newsletters internally and impactful collaborations with external communication agencies to support and inspire our customer base
  • Updating the website with recent news and product information


Required Competencies

  • You have a Business or Marketing degree with about 5 years of relevant experience in product management, ideally in a food-related environment.
  • You show strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to work on multiple projects at once and work under pressure and to deadlines.
  • You are data driven, curious, digital savvy, and inspired by the understanding of local consumer culture’s diversity in food.
  • You are determined to continuously improve everything we do, daring to challenge boundaries to deliver superior value in products & services.
  • You have a passion for food and a strong drive to ‘do the right thing’ for the planet and future generations.
  • You are a dynamic, proactive, and creative team player. You respect others.
  • You are fluent in English.
  • You are open to travel locally (and occasionally international)
