The mission of the Sales Manager is to develop sales strategies and create profitable business for Puratos in Switzerland. As part of the local Management Team, and reporting directly to the General Manager, you work together with your colleagues in Switzerland and the Group growing the business and be successful.

 

Key Accountabilities (core responsibilities, projects and tasks for the position):

  • Sales-related support of selected key accounts
  • Technical and disciplinary leadership of the sales team
  • Expansion of customer relationships and selection and acquisition of new customers
  • Close cooperation and ensuring of a smooth communication between all the relevant business interfaces (including production centers)
  • Competitor and potential analysis, market monitoring and store checks for the product range
  • Create, define and achieve KPIs
  • Responsible for the sales budget and the Forecasts, set proper actions in case of negative deviations.
  • Product Development support regards new products or ongoing improvement on existing products
  • Organization of customer audits
  • Preparation of customer support, customer visits and interrelated visit reports
  • Responsibility for sales, revenues, gross margin (KPIs) for entire Switzerland

 

Profile:

  • Must have at least Bachelor’s degree in business administration or Food Sciences, Master degree is a plus
  • At least 5 years of experience, proven track record as a Key Account Manager in the B2B area
  • Excellent communication skills German and English is required. Knowledge of French is an advantage
  • Strong exposure to Food technology and industry
