Position Overview

For our team in Hungary we are looking for a Product Manager to drive the Marketing function and partner R&D and Sales in successful delivery of our product strategies:

(Budapest, Hungary)



Reporting directly to the Country General Manager, You will be responsible for successful implementation of the marketing strategy and activity plan; propose marketing tactics adapted to the local market’s needs. You will achieve budgeted turnover and business objectives through development and implementation of marketing activities contributing to increased sales, improved brand equity and customer satisfaction.


Key Accountabilities

• Accountable for the business results (growth and profitability) of the assigned product category / BU within the marketing team.
• Define and implement the product strategy, the management of the product life cycle of the entire product range and support the business development in order to reach its objectives of growth and profitability.
• Lead the development and implementation of innovation/ strategic projects in close collaboration with R&D and sales, operations, technical advisors and 3rd parties.
• Build Market intelligence for the product category on customer – competitor – consumer – company level.
• Develop the strategy for the product category, align it with key stakeholders within the local organization and HQ.
• Follow, analyze and manage the performance of the products in terms of volume, sales and margin evolution.
• Manage the assigned budget, request quotations and comply with the acquisition policy.
• Build relationship with clients and deliver value added projects that support the business targets with a win-win approach.
• Act as Inter-departmental coordinator / facilitator between various departments (operations, marketing services, R&D, QA, QC, finance, supply chain, ...) regarding the product category.



• Solid Marketing experience in areas like product strategy, Release, Ideation
• Project management: planning, organization, timing, budget.
• Is able to write clearly and succinctly in a variety of communication settings and styles; can get messages across that have the desired effect.
• Dynamic, down to earth, hands on’ spirit, pragmatic
• Skilled communicator and influencer
• Fluent in English. Any other language is plus
• Good Microsoft Office skills – Powerpoint, Excel, Word
• Digital marketing knowhow is a plus.
