Position Overview

In order to further strengthen our Operations team in Israel, we are currently seeking a:

 

Supply Chain Manager
(Ashdod, Israel)

 


Reporting directly to the General Manager, the successful candidate for this key function will manage the full cycle and processes of the Supply Chain, e.g. sourcing, purchasing , warehousing and distribution.


Key Accountabilities

 

• Lead the supply chain team in executing best practices and measuring performance through agreed KPIs.
• Assimilation of advanced tools in purchasing, warehousing and distribution
• Plan and manage material sourcing and inventory
• Develop and implement supply chain optimization projects and procedures
• Sourcing and negotiations with suppliers in Israel and abroad.
• Ongoing contact with suppliers - managing supplier performance in all aspects of the contract
• Analysis of expenses in terms of costing on all aspects of procurement

 

Profile


• University level degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Economics
• 8+ years of experience in the field of purchasing / supply chain in an industrial organization
• Very good knowledge of supply chain methodology and commercial acumen
• Experience in leading, providing coaching, developing talent, and building a high-performance team
• Experience working in an ERP system
• Very good problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
• Team player with great communication and networking skills
• Business fluent English and Hebrew
