Regional ICT Infrastructure Specialist

Your Mission

As a Regional ICT Infrastructure Specialist, you have the unique opportunity to shape and advance the ICT infrastructure across over 50 sites in Belgium, North and Eastern Europe. In this critical role, you'll ensure a maintenance of our operations and our business continuity for our diverse operations across 18 countries. Leveraging a broad spectrum of technologies, you will resolve complex issues, lead significant infrastructure projects, and implement innovative solutions. Working together  with a team of specialists, your efforts will not only enhance our operational capabilities but also drive strategic technological advancements, setting the stage for substantial professional development and impact.

What you will do

Join our dynamic regional infrastructure team, and dive into the vibrant tech landscape spanning Belgium, Northern and Eastern Europe. As a pivotal player in this team, you’ll keep our digital gears smoothly running across over 50 sites in 18 countries. Here’s a peek at what your day-to-day will look like:

• ICT Specialist: You’ll get your hands on a variety of tech—from networks and servers to endpoints and the cloud. Keeping our tech not just functioning, but thriving will be on the forefront. Standardization will also be key.
• Team Player: Expect to rub elbows with just about everyone, from Operations to management. You're the go-to person helping teams across the company troubleshoot and master their tech needs.
• Field Agent: Roll up your sleeves for regular on-site visits. You’ll:
  • Strategize with key players to keep our tech a step ahead of our business growth.
  • Install, revamp, and grapple  with network and server infrastructures to make sure they’re top-notch.
  • Immerse yourself with everything from laptops to warehouse gadgets, smoothing out the tricky tech snags that leave others scratching their heads.
• Project Management: Step into your role as a senior leader and independently steer a range of ICT infrastructure projects. Whether it’s rolling out new systems to buzzing new sites or upgrading our setups, you’re the captain at the helm.
• Supported by the Best: You’re never flying solo. A team of third-line wizards and tech architects have your back, equipped with deep, cutting-edge knowledge to help you succeed.

What we expect from you

• Tech Expertise: You have at least 5 years of experience in the IT support world, mainly in a second-line role. Your hands-on experience will be the backbone of our technical activities.
• Tech Enthusiast: You’re not just into tech—you live and breathe it! Your passion for all things IT is infectious and fuels your drive to stay ahead of the curve. Through this, you thrive for innovation.
• People Pro: You’ve got a knack for communication and genuinely enjoy helping others. Your great interpersonal skills make you a favorite among colleagues and clients alike.
• ICT Savvy: You possess a broad and impressive knowledge of corporate IT solutions that makes you a veritable tech wizard in our eyes.
• Language Skills: Fluent in English? Perfect! If you can also chat in Dutch and/or French, that’s a big plus.
• Travel Bug: You love to get out and about, and you’re ready to hit the road for about 20% of your time, exploring new places and spreading your tech expertise.
• Tech Toolkit: While it's not a dealbreaker if you're not familiar with every tool in the shed, experience with any of these is a plus:
  • Windows server & endpoint, Microsoft M365, Exchange Online
  • Intune, AD & Entra
  • Cisco gear, HP servers & storage solutions (like Alletra & Simplivity)
  • Security with Palo Alto, CrowdStrike EDR, Rapid7 XDR
  • VMware, VEEAM backup solutions
