Position Overview

Based at BanoPuratos in Lebanon, we are currently seeking a:

Regional Business Controller

(Bshamoun)

Reliable finance business partners to proactively support our customers in creating value. As a finance / business partner you will support and challenge the organization in meeting the financial objectives and looking to continuously improve all areas.

Key Accountabilities

• Provide meaningful, actionable insights, advice, and recommendations on historic and future financial performance to reach Business Strategy.
• Reporting and analysis of financial results, including the monthly P&L for all the countries and provide meaningful insights and recommendations to reach the group’s targets.
• Perform monthly statements of Balance Sheet – Cash Flow – Working Capital – Shareholder Value and Budget Variances to present to the management.
• Review of product margins & customer profitability of each country and share conclusions.
• Monitor actual capex progress vs budget and report it on the group portal
• Coordinate the monthly reporting, forecasting, LRP and budget process
• Conduct a ratio analysis and submit it on monthly basis to the management
• Monthly reporting to Puratos, and follow up on all types of requests
• P&L - Review product margins & customers profitability and share conclusions & actions.
• P&L - Support Operation KPI’s tracking and analysis on variances.
• P&L - Proceed OPEX control and optimization guidance.
• B/S - Screen all capital investments projects and perform post analysis.
• Control and analyze the monthly expenses for all entities, and recommend improvements when required.
• Follow up with Auditors and External Consultants (Muhanna, BDO,…)

Profile

• Minimum of 5 years post graduate in the field of Finance.
• Around 3 years of experience in financial / business controlling, preferably in FMCG.
• Manufacturing experience is a plus
• Good communication and management skills.
• Fluency in English and local languages.
• A good knowledge of Excel.
• Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools like Cognos, QlikView/Sense or Lumira is a plus.
• Analytical, hands-on, initiative taking, result driven.
• Mobility: travel to local sites and exceptionally to international seminar.
